Rugby's "Landscape Body" is the most versatile and accessible body available. All our Landscape Bodies are designed to meet the toughest standards, featuring a curbside swing-out door and rear barn doors over a drop down tailgate that employs our revolutionary EZ - Latch™ system on the upper pins.

14 gauge front and sides with centered horizontal formed rib
10 gauge two-piece floor
Curbside front has 54" wide door opening for easy access for most pallet sizes
Easy access to all door handles from ground level
Outset heavy-duty greaseable hinges allow doors to be opened completely and be pinned back with provided door holders
Interlaced understructure with 10 gauge 4" formed channel crossmembers spaced 14" apart (16" spacing on 12' and larger bodies) with 7 gauge 9" formed channel long sills
Prefabricated tarp housing
Rugby products’ lighting locations have been designed to assist the installer in meeting FMVSS / CMVSS 108 requirements.

Tailgate Features & Specifications

Two-piece 28" rear barn doors over tailgate with over-center pull action latch mechanism
Fold down tailgate, 20" tall has double walled design, 12 gauge material inside, 14 gauge outside, fully boxed frame and two vertical braces
Tailgate has heavy-duty 1 1/4" top and 1" bottom hinge pins
Patented EZ-LATCH upper release mechanism to allow easy opening of tailgate
Optional 2-piece 48" rear barn doors available
